Four Men Arrested in Connection to 2022 Maywood Armed Home Invasion

MAYWOOD, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella has announced the arrests of Derick De La Rosa, Ismael Carrasco-De La Rosa, Joaquin Portorreal-Garcia, and Francisco Rojas-Corporan on charges related to an armed home invasion.

The arrests are the result of a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Maywood Police Department.

The incident took place on Friday, November 11, 2022, at a residence on Terrace Avenue in Maywood. According to reports, three male suspects armed with handguns entered the residence and demanded cash from the homeowner.

One of the suspects pointed a semi-automatic firearm at one of the residents before all four men fled the scene in a vehicle.

The joint investigation led to the arrest of the four individuals on armed robbery-related charges. All suspects are currently in custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
