Lancaster Man Wanted for Stealing at Ulta

LANCASTER, PA – John Study Smith, a 50-year-old resident of Lancaster, has been recently charged in connection to a retail theft that occurred at Ulta Beauty at 1575 Fruitville Pk.

The incident took place on Tuesday, May 2. Video surveillance footage revealed that five suspects stole merchandise valued at $7,732.

The footage also showed two suspects staging items throughout the store, which were then concealed and taken by the remaining three suspects. All suspects fled in a single vehicle. An investigation led to the identification of Smith as one of the suspects.

Smith has also been identified as a suspect in several other organized retail thefts throughout Central Pennsylvania. A criminal complaint has been filed, and an arrest warrant has been obtained. Smith remains at large.

Manheim Township Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding Smith’s whereabouts to contact them.
