Man Sought in Series of Knife-Point Robberies in New York City

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for public assistance to identify an individual involved in a series of robberies involving a knife.

The first reported incident occurred on Friday, August 4, at approximately 7:50 am. A 36-year-old male was walking near 99-11 39 Avenue when an unknown individual approached him, displaying a knife and demanding money. The victim managed to flee on foot without sustaining injuries or losing property.

The latest incident in this pattern took place on Thursday, August 17, around 5:25 pm. A 32-year-old male was walking near 39-06 108 Street when an unknown individual approached him.

The individual displayed a knife and demanded money, to which the victim complied and handed over his wallet. The victim was uninjured.

The NYPD is actively investigating these incidents and asked anyone with information to come forward.
