New Port News Police Searching for Fugitive Murder Suspect

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Newport News Police Department (NNPD) is actively seeking Ronald Lashawne Brown, 35, in connection with the murder of Tahesha Saunders on 33rd Street on August 3.

Brown is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Brown’s last known address was in Hampton.

The NNPD encourages anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts to make an anonymous tip by calling the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submitting online at P3Tips.com.

Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to an arrest.
