Shooting in Baltimore Leaves One Dead, One Critically Injured

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – One man was killed and another critically injured in a shooting yesterday morning in Western Baltimore.

Just after 1 am yesterday morning, Western District patrol officers responded to the 2200 block of West North Avenue due to a Shot Spotter alert, finding two males with gunshot wounds.

The victims, a 26-year-old male, and an unidentified adult male, were quickly transported to area hospitals. The unidentified male did not survive, while the 26-year-old remains in critical condition.

On August 24, 2023, at approximately 1:05 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2200 block of West North Avenue in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 26-year-old male and an unidentified adult male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victims to area hospitals, where the unidentified male victim later died. The 26-year-old male victim is listed in critical condition.
