Man Hospitalized in Portsmouth Shooting

PORTSMOUTH, VA – Early Thursday morning, the Portsmouth Police Department responded to a shooting at 3700 Turnpike Road.

Upon arrival, they found a man with a life-threatening injury, who was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

The shooting occurred just after 1:30 a.m., and the police are currently investigating the incident.

The nature of the injury suggests the situation is severe.
