18-Year-Old Fatally Shot In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are probing a fatal shooting in Southeast D.C. that took place Friday evening

Officers were called to the 2000 block of Naylor Road just after 7 p.m. to investigate a report of a shooting. Police found the gunshot victim and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The individual who passed away has been identified as Jaqiah Johnson, an 18-year-old resident of Southeast, D.C.
