68-Year-Old Woman Beaten And Robbed at Midtown Business Where She Worked

New York, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify an individual connected to a commercial robbery in the Midtown South Precinct.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 26, around 5:30 p.m. An unidentified individual entered a commercial establishment at 224 Lexington Avenue and demanded money. The individual then punched a 68-year-old female store worker and forcibly removed a cash register from the premises. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYU Langone Medical Center and is in stable condition.
