Deadly Stabbing Suspects on the Loose in the Bronx

Bronx, NY — A 36-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the vicinity of East 149 Street and Bergen Avenue on Saturday at approximately 11:35 a.m.

The victim, identified as Jyleal Conner of the Bronx, was approached by two unknown individuals who stabbed him multiple times with sharp objects.

The assailants then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Conner was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased. Media depicting the suspects near the scene prior to the incident has been made available by the DCPI.

The investigation is ongoing.
