NYPD Seeks Scooter Bound Robbery Suspect in the Bronx

New York, NY — The New York City Police Department has requested public assistance in identifying an individual involved in a robbery case within the 44th Precinct.

The incident took place on Sunday, August 20, at approximately 12:05 a.m. A 37-year-old woman was walking in front of 1645 Grand Concourse when an unknown individual on a two-wheeled vehicle approached her.

The individual grabbed the woman’s purse from her shoulder without dismounting his vehicle and fled westbound towards Jerome Avenue. The victim sustained a minor injury but did not require medical attention. The purse contained identification documents, approximately $524, and a debit card.
