New York, NY — New York City police conducted a wellness check at an apartment in the Upper West Side and discovered four deceased individuals on Monday afternoon.
The call was made to 328 West 86 Street within the 20th Precinct at approximately 2:56 p.m.
Upon entering the fourth-floor apartment with the help of FDNY personnel, officers found Edison Lopez, 41, and Alexandra Witek, 40, both with trauma to the neck.
Also discovered were their children, Lucien Lopez, 3, with trauma to the torso, and Calvin Lopez, 1, with trauma about the body.
Each of the family members was stabbed to death, according to police.
EMS personnel responded to the scene and pronounced all four individuals deceased. The investigation remains ongoing.
