Man Charged for Disturbance on Virginia Avenue

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Saturday, officers were dispatched to Virginia Avenue due to a disturbance involving multiple individuals.

One man, identified as 30-year-old Craig Allen Ritchie Jr. of Frostburg, Maryland, was notably uncooperative.

Ritchie attempted to push past an officer to reach another group of people despite repeated warnings to stop. He was subsequently restrained and transported to Police Headquarters.

Ritchie has been issued two criminal citations for Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Obey.
