CLEVELAND, OH – Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced that James Saunders, 56, has been sentenced to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine for voting fraud.
Investigation found that Saunders voted in Ohio and Florida in both the 2020 and 2022 general elections.
On August 22, Saunders was found guilty of two counts of Election Fraud.
Investigations revealed that he had also voted twice in the 2014 and 2016 general elections, but these instances were not eligible for prosecution due to the statute of limitations.
The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor emphasized that election fraud will not be tolerated and is urging citizens to uphold the integrity of the democratic process.
