LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – A joint operation between Pennsylvania’s Office of Attorney General, Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, and Allentown Police Department resulted in the arrest of two alleged drug traffickers and the seizure of over 11 pounds of fentanyl.

Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that agents executed search warrants on August 26, uncovering fentanyl with an estimated street value of over $1.5 million. This equates to nearly 165,000 doses of the hazardous drug.

Wilson Jose Rosario, 33, and Luis Manuel Ventura, 21, both of Allentown, have been charged with felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, conspiracy to deliver fentanyl, and related offenses. Both men were arraigned and are being held at Lehigh County Jail on $600,000 bail each.

In addition to the fentanyl, authorities seized packaging materials, including respirators, scales, and vacuum sealers, along with $3,400 in cash.

“Fentanyl is a perilous drug that affects nearly every community. This operation is an example of successful collaboration between multiple law enforcement agencies to remove this threat,” said Attorney General Henry.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin praised the operation, stating that the successful sting took a significant amount of fentanyl off the streets.
