Woman Critical After Shooting in Philadelphia Motel Room

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 43-year-old woman is in critical condition after being shot three times in the legs at a Motel 6 on the 11500 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.

The shooting took place early Sunday morning at 2:03 a.m. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

After the shooting, the suspected gunman is believed to have fled into nearby woods.

Police report that as of 7 a.m. Sunday morning, no arrest had been made.

The Philadelphia Police Department is actively searching for the suspect.
