Cherry Hill Police Host Inaugural “Shop with a Cop” Back-to-School Event

Cherry Hill, NJ — The Cherry Hill Police Department, in collaboration with Cherry Hill PBA Local 176 and Cherry Hill FOP Lodge 28, hosted its first annual Back to School “Shop with a Cop” event this past weekend at DICK’S Sporting Goods.

Local police officers volunteered their time to assist 14 children in preparing for the new school year. The participating kids were led through the store by the officers as they filled their carts with a variety of school supplies.

The Cherry Hill Police Department extended its gratitude to the staff of DICK’S Sporting Goods for hosting, donating, and aiding in the organization of the event, stating that the officers involved had a wonderful experience.
