Police Investigating after Finding Dead Body During Wellness Check

OXON HILL, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is probing into a death that occurred this weekend.

Officers responded to the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway on Sunday at approximately 3:30 am for a welfare check. The individual was found outside with signs of trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing to determine the motive and identify any suspects. An autopsy is scheduled to confirm the cause of death.
