Rockland County Observes Overdose Awareness Day

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – First Assistant District Attorney Charles Apotheker attended the Rockland County Overdose Awareness event at the Tallman Pool Club last Sunday.

The event aimed to raise awareness about overdose. Family members spoke about their lost loved ones, and a candle was lit in remembrance.

A video titled “Choices and Consequences” was part of the event.

Created by the District Attorney’s office, the video was shown to high school students across Rockland County last year.

The video tells the story of three Rockland residents and the outcomes of their choices.
