Fatal Motorcycle Crash Under Investigation in Dover Township

Dover Township, PA – Northern York County Regional Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred on August 30 at 6:01 PM on the 2000 block of Park St.

According to initial findings, a sedan was exiting a private driveway, making a left turn to head west on Park St. when it was struck on the driver’s side by a motorcycle traveling eastbound.

The motorcyclist, a 69-year-old male resident of Dover Township, was rushed to Wellspan York Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The sedan’s driver, a 28-year-old male from Manchester Township, and his 26-year-old male passenger from Dover Township reported no injuries.
