Police Seek Suspect in Community Pool Sexual Assault

RAHWAY, NJ – The Union County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit is calling for public help in the ongoing investigation of a sexual assault incident that took place at the Walter E. Ulrich Memorial Pool in Rahway River Park on July 22.

The victim, a juvenile female, reported being assaulted by a stranger in the pool area sometime after 3 p.m. The suspect is described as a middle-aged, bald, white male, standing about 5’5″ to 5’6″ tall and of a somewhat heavyset build. He has either blue or green eyes and was wearing only swim trunks at the time of the incident.

This is an active investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Special Victims Unit Sergeant Annie Coll at (908) 347-2474 or Detective Jessica Tattoli at (908) 341-5418.
