Do You Know Him? NYPD Seeks Suspect in Manhattan Subway Robbery

NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a robbery that occurred on the southbound 6 train platform at 116 Street. The incident happened on Saturday, August 19, at approximately 5:30 a.m.

The victim, a 49-year-old male, was on the platform when he was approached by an unknown individual. The suspect cut open the victim’s pocket and forcibly took the victim’s wallet before fleeing the scene. The victim was uninjured.

The individual is described as a male, approximately 50-years-old with a medium complexion.
