Florida Man WinsA Million Dollar Prize on Scratch Off Ticket

HOLIDAY, FL – Jackie Dombrowski, a 34-year-old resident of Holiday, claimed a $1 million prize today from a Florida Lottery cratch-Off game.

Dombrowski opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000 at the Florida Lottery’s Headquarters in Tallahassee.

The winning ticket was purchased from Winn-Dixie, located at 1640 US 19 North in Holiday. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for the sale.

The $50 Scratch-Off game was launched in February and features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life, along with 234 prizes of $1 million. The game offers more than $1.6 billion in cash prizes and has an overall winning odd of 1-in-4.50.

Scratch-Offs comprise about 72 percent of the Florida Lottery’s ticket sales for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Since their inception, these games have generated over $18.09 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
