Silver Spring, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police is investigating a theft that occurred at Cubano’s Restaurant on Wednesday, August 16. Detectives have released surveillance footage and are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect.
The suspect entered the restaurant at around 8 p.m., took a purse hanging on a rack, and entered the bathroom.
The purse was later found in the bathroom, missing cash and personal items. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30 years old, with a thin build, wearing a gray t-shirt.
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Tips may remain anonymous.
