Woman Arrested for Fight at Cambridge Food Lion

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On Sunday, August 28, at approximately 12:16 pm, Cambridge Police Department officers located Janetta Milligan, a 37-year-old resident of Cambridge, in the 300 block of Gay St.

Milligan was served a Criminal Summons and released on her signature. She faces two counts of second-degree assault.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on July 5 at Food Lion. According to the victim, a verbal altercation between Milligan and them escalated into a physical confrontation.

Milligan is accused of assaulting the victim and another family member. The victim subsequently applied for charges against Milligan, leading to the issuance of a Criminal Summons.

The Cambridge Police Department is responsible for investigating all assault cases within the city. Anyone with additional information regarding this case is asked to contact the department directly.
