Airplane Crashes at Ocean County Airport, Pilot Reported Dead

A plane crash left one dead, a pilot of a small aircraft, at Ocean County’s Robert J. Miller Airport, also known as Ocean County Airport in Berkeley Township.

Details of the crash are unknown at this time.

The crash triggered a fire that was contained by multiple fire departments. The incident was reported shortly after 10 pm Saturday night.

The plane crashed in a nearby wooded area according to officials.
