Deadly Shooting in Craven County Under Investigation

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. – Deputies from the Craven County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at a home at 411 Butler Road last Friday at about 2:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man inside the home who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no perceived danger to the public, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The victim’s name and any information on suspects or arrests are not being released at this time.

The Craven County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to come forward.
