Jersey City Woman Reported Missing

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating Gemika Gladys Ross, 31, of Jersey City.

Gemika was last seen on Saturday, September 2, at approximately 11:00 a.m., walking a dog near the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Beacon Avenue in Jersey City. She is described as a black female with brown eyes and black braided hair.

At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a white pajama shirt with unknown designs, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.

Gemika suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and does not have her medication with her. Authorities believe she may have traveled to the Paterson, NJ area.
