Man Arrested After Police Standoff for Assaulting Two in Domestic Dispute

HARRISBURG, PA – On Tuesday, at about 5:35 p.m., the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police responded to a domestic-related assault on the 6900 block of Clubhouse Court.

William Gardner, the suspect, reportedly attacked and strangled one victim and assaulted another with a knife.

The victims were safely removed from the residence, while Gardner remained barricaded inside. After communication with police, Gardner exited the premises and was taken into custody.

He was transported to the Dauphin County Judicial Center for preliminary arraignment.

Gardner faces multiple charges, including strangulation and aggravated assault, and remains in Dauphin County Prison with bail denied.
