Police Investigating After Woman Shot in Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY – A woman in her 20s was injured in a shooting on Oakman Street off North Clinton Avenue in Rochester on Friday. Rochester Police responded to the scene just after 10:30 a.m. and found evidence of gunfire but no victim.

Later, it was discovered that the woman had arrived at Strong Hospital in a private car to treat an upper body gunshot wound. She is expected to survive her injuries.

Rochester Police are still investigating the incident. Officers are collecting evidence and conducting interviews to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
