Two Arrested in Buffalo Armed Home Invasion

BUFFALO, N.Y. – On Tuesday, Buffalo Police Department announced the arrest of two individuals following a home invasion on the 500 block of Minnesota Avenue.

At around 8:30 a.m., two masked men allegedly entered a residence, brandishing handguns and demanding cash and jewelry. The occupants were restrained, and one female was injured after being struck on the head with a gun.

Northeast district detectives initiated an immediate investigation. The unopened safe was recovered near the home. Wesley Bonner, 25, and Marcie Gue, 28, both of Buffalo, were apprehended with the assistance of Buffalo Police SWAT and Ferry-Filmore officers.

Both suspects face multiple charges, including Robbery in the First Degree and Burglary in the First Degree, both class B felonies.

Additional charges include Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, both class E felonies. Bonner was out on bail for a separate gun arrest that occurred in May.
