Two Victims Critical After Being Woken Up, Assaulted

HARRISBURG, PA – On Saturday, August 27, at about 3:54 a.m., the Lower Paxton Bureau of Police responded to an assault on the 1100 block of Lonberry Drive.

Two victims were reportedly awoken and assaulted by suspect Austin Qualls.

The victims sustained severe injuries requiring hospitalization.

Qualls was arrested and transported to the Dauphin County Judicial Center for a preliminary hearing.

Qualls was arraigned and remains in Dauphin County Prison with bail denied. He faces multiple charges, including attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
