D.C. Police Offer Reward in Shooting Murder of 15-Year-Old

WASHINGTON, DC – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred last Saturday in the 4200 block of 4th Street, Southeast.

At around 5:59 a.m., members of the Seventh District arrived at the location following a report of a shooting. They found a juvenile male victim inside a residence.

DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services confirmed the victim showed no signs of life and remained on the scene until transferred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Zyion Turner, a resident of Southeast, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this homicide.
