Man Who Tried to Lure Child for Sex in D.C. Arrested

WASHINGTON, DC – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division have made an arrest in a recent child enticement case.

The incident occurred last Friday in the 600 block of Malcolm X Avenue, Southeast.

At around 6:30 p.m., the suspect attempted to entice a juvenile female into engaging in sexual contact.

The suspect, identified as 57-year-old James Baker Jr. of Southwest, DC, was arrested.

He was charged with Enticing a Child on the same day as the incident.
