Police Seeking Bronx Robbery Suspect

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to a grand larceny incident.

On Tuesday, August 15, at approximately 5:10 pm, a 38-year-old female was walking in front of 179 East 165 Street when an unknown individual snatched her cellphone from her hand. The victim was not injured.

The individual fled the scene on foot, heading southbound. He is described as a male with a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and “Air Jordan 4 Fire Red” sneakers.

The investigation is ongoing, and the department is relying on public assistance to identify the suspect. No further details about the incident have been released at this time.
