Elderly Man Injured After Being Hit With Chair at NYC Sandwich Shop

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 78-year-old man was struck in the head with a chair inside Pot Belly Sandwich Shop at 90 Broad Street, according to police.

The assault took place on Monday at approximately 7:30 p.m. when an unidentified individual approached the elderly man and threw a chair at him. The attacker then fled the scene on foot. The victim refused medical attention.
