Toms River North Triumphs Over Toms River East in Decisive 42-0 Win

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Micah Ford led Toms River North to a 42-0 victory against cross-town rivals Toms River East on Friday night.

Ford had an outstanding performance, recording 131 passing yards, 91 rushing yards, and accounting for three touchdowns. Toms River North dominated every quarter, with scores coming in all four periods. Yianni Papanikolas converted all six extra points, solidifying the win.

Toms River North set the pace in the first quarter when Ford made a 28-yard run into the end zone. Two additional touchdowns were scored in the second quarter, one on a 47-yard pass to Jeremiah Pruitt and another on a 7-yard pass to Camryn Thomas.

The third quarter saw two more touchdowns: a 60-yard pass to Tareq Council and a 13-yard run by Josh Moore. The final nail in the coffin came in the fourth quarter when Mordecai Ford rushed for a 46-yard touchdown.

The Toms River North defense also stood out, with Anthony Rodriguez leading in tackles, registering 10 in total.

The win takes Toms River North to 2-0 for the season, while Toms River East falls to 0-2.
