Carjackers Held Gun to Victim’s Head in Laurel

LAUREL, MD – Two suspects carjacked and assaulted a man in the early morning hours on Laurel Ft Meade Road, fleeing with the victim’s vehicle and personal information.

Officers arrived at the 3500 block of Laurel Ft Meade Road on September 6, following a report of a carjacking. The victim stated that after exiting his vehicle, he was confronted by two unknown individuals. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim’s head, demanding his phone and banking details.

The victim was then struck in the back of the head and instructed to lie on the ground.

The suspects were wearing all-black clothing, with no further description available.

One suspect drove away in the victim’s vehicle, while the other fled in a separate vehicle. Western District detectives are currently investigating the incident and request that anyone with information contact 410-222-6155 or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
