D.C. Teens Arrested in Connection with Robbery and Vehicle Theft

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Authorities from the D.C. Metro Police Department have made arrests related to a Robbery and Stolen Auto offense on the 600 block of L Street in Southeast D.C.

Just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning, the suspects assaulted the victim and took both property and the victim’s vehicle. Officers responding to the incident later recovered the stolen vehicle and arrested the suspects.

On the same day, a 16-year-old juvenile male from Southeast, DC, and two other males, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, both from Northwest, DC, were arrested and charged with Robbery (Force and Violence) and Theft (Stolen Auto). The Metropolitan Police Department’s First District is handling the ongoing investigation.
