Two Sought in Wilkes-Barre Bike, Newport Cigarette Theft

WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes-Barre Police are investigating a burglary committed by two white males, possibly bald.

One suspect was seen riding a mountain bike, and the other was on a BMX-style bike.

The suspects are depicted in surveillance photos.

The items stolen include a large quantity of Newport cigarettes and sanitation stickers.

The police are asking anyone with information regarding the identity of these individuals, or knowledge of them recently possessing or distributing the stolen items, to contact Detective Mike Twerdi at 570-208-6721.
