Woman Victim of Snatch and Ride Robbery in Queens

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An unidentified man on a bicycle snatched a cellphone from a 25-year-old woman at the intersection of 81st Street and 102nd Avenue.

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 12, at around 6 p.m. The victim was walking when the suspect approached her from behind and stole her phone. The individual then fled toward Liberty Avenue. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is a male, around 6’3″ and 170 pounds with a medium build, dark complexion, and black hair. He was last seen in a black t-shirt and black pants.

The NYPD has released a photo depicting the suspect, captured near the scene of the crime.
