Suspect Sprays Cops with Bear Spray

CARLISLE, PA – On Monday, Carlisle Police responded to a series of related incidents starting with a shots fired call at the intersection of N Pitt and B Streets around 3:10 PM.

Officers also attended to two separate criminal mischief calls, a pepper spray incident, and another report of possible gunfire.

While officers were on the scene, an individual attacked a victim using bear spray and also sprayed several uniformed police officers.

The individual was arrested, and charges are pending. All incidents involved the same suspects and victims, and additional information will be released as charges are filed.

The Carlisle Police Department is actively investigating these incidents. They are asking anyone with information to come forward.
