Woman Grabbed from Behind, Robbed by Bronx Mob

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Tuesday, August 29, at approximately 6:45 pm, the New York City Police Department received a report of a robbery on 985 Westchester Avenue in the Bronx.

A 30-year-old female was walking when unidentified individuals approached her from behind, grabbed her neck, and forcibly removed a chain from her neck.

The assailants fled on foot, heading eastbound on Westchester Avenue. The victim declined medical attention at the scene.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for the robbery.
