Gang Targets 69-Year-Old Man on NYC MTA Bus

NEW YORK CITY - MAY 7, 2013: MTA Hybrid Electric Bus Route 5 on Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street, New York City, USA.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a gang assault.

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 26, at around 2:55 pm on an MTA Bx13 bus near West 164th Street and Southern Boulevard.

A 69-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown individual who punched him in the face. The assailant then fled the scene on foot.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln by Emergency Medical Services.

The New York City Police Department is actively investigating this case. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact the police.
