Police Investigating Shooting Outside Laurel Hotel

LAUREL, MARYLAND – A non-contact shooting occurred in the rear parking lot of the Garden Inn Hotel early this morning, as a man was waiting in his car for a friend.

The incident unfolded at 2:24 a.m. at 3400 Laurel Fort Meade Road. The victim reported that two unknown males approached his vehicle. As he drove away, one of the suspects fired at his car, striking it. Both suspects left the area before police arrived.

The suspects are described as black males wearing black hooded sweatshirts. Western District detectives are actively investigating the case and encourage anyone with information to contact them at 410-222-6155 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
