Trespasser Facing Crack Cocaine Possession Charge

UTICA, NY – On Tuesday, Utica Police units responded to a trespassing incident at South Utica Price Chopper.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the male suspect, Tracy Harris, 58, of Utica, had outstanding warrants through the Utica Police Department.

Harris was taken into custody without incident.

A subsequent search revealed a large plastic bag containing smaller baggies with a substance consistent with crack cocaine in his front pocket.

Harris was transported to the Utica Police Department, where he was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third and seventh degrees, as well as an outstanding Criminal Mischief 4th warrant.
