Man Charged for RO Violation in Cambridge

Police handcuffs and criminal fingerprints card

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On last Tuesday, at around 5:51 pm, Cambridge Police Department Officers arrested Jeffrey Reed Lewis Jr., a 27-year-old resident of Cambridge.

Lewis had an active arrest warrant from Dorchester County for violating a Protection Order. He was taken to the station for initial processing and later released on personal recognizance.

The charges against Lewis stem from an incident that occurred on the same day in the 800 block of Travers St. Lewis reportedly contacted a person who has a Protection Order against him.

The victim subsequently applied for charges, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Lewis now faces charges for violating a Protection Order. He was processed and released, awaiting further legal proceedings. The Cambridge Police Department is handling the investigation and asked anyone with relevant information to contact them.
