New Jersey State Police Investigate Serious Hit-and-Run Crash

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ – The New Jersey State Police is asking for the public’s help in investigating a hit-and-run crash that resulted in serious injuries.

The incident took place on Wednesday, around 12:43 a.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike northbound in Ridgefield Park, Bergen County.

According to detectives, the victims were operating a motorized scooter when they were struck by an unknown vehicle, possibly a white Ford Transit Van, near milepost 117.3.

The vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision.
