Two Charged in Brooklyn Armed Robbery

BROOKLYN, NY – On May 22, officers responded to an armed robbery at Sleep Inn and Suites on 6055 Belle Grove Road.

An unknown male suspect, dressed in all black, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the front desk clerk before fleeing.

CID Robbery detectives have identified two suspects involved in the robbery. Carnel Cummings Jr., 26, and Kelly Terry Washington Jr., 28, both with no fixed address, have been charged for their involvement. Arrest warrants were issued on Wednesday.

Both suspects are currently being held in another jurisdiction on unrelated charges. They will be served their arrest warrants prior to their release.
