Do You Know Them? D.C. Police Seek Robbery Suspects

WASHINGTON, DC – Metropolitan Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects related to two robbery incidents that occurred in the Fourth District on August 8.

The first incident took place at 8:47 p.m. at the intersection of Carroll Street and Cedar Street, Northwest. Suspects approached the victim and demanded their property, gesturing with their backpacks in a way that led the victim to believe they were armed. The victim complied, and the suspects fled.

The second incident occurred at 9:00 p.m. in the 6500 block of 3rd Street, Northwest. Again, suspects approached a victim demanding property while gesturing with their backpacks. This time, the victim fled and did not surrender any property.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects. Police are asking anyone who can identify them or has information about the incidents to call (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
