Late-Night Shooting in D.C. Under Investigation

WASHINGTON, D.C.— A shooting was reported at 11:09 p.m. last night in the 1200 block of U Street in Northwest D.C.

Authorities have issued a lookout for a suspect described as a Black male dressed in all-black clothing and wearing a ski mask. The suspect is reportedly armed with handguns.

Police are advising the public to refrain from intervening and to call 911 immediately if they have information related to the shooting. Alternatively, information can be submitted by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
